August 10, 2003 No Risk Wonders
It's these "crap" days that always seem to pay off with some cool skies. After the sunset the hope was to get the moon again. I didn't know how late it was rising now. It rises about an hour later every day and it had been a good number of days since that last show(on the 5th). I continued shooting after dark, hoping the moon would show up early enough. I was getting worried for a bit until I could see this bright light coming over the towers. It doesn't work out too well when it's full as it's just simply too bright. I was also very close to Omaha. The whole sky was very bright, killing the stars. The electrical activity was also dying off rather quickly after the sunset.
